Design and construction of a 104,000 square foot state of the art, General Motors “Image” approved building, literally 20 feet away from their present showroom. Careful planning and meeting daily with Owners was required to keep their business operating as smoothly as possible. DHI also worked closely with the City of Concord engineers to make sure the finished site would accommodate the future upgrades and widening of Manchester Street, scheduled for 2013. The project incorporated the use of spray foam insulation, high “R” insulated garage doors and a heating system that uses waste oil to provide 100% of the facilities heat and hot water demands. Additionally, LED lighting was used as much as possible throughout the building to lower operational costs to the owner.
